That's a big improvement on the harness! That engine looks fabulous Colin.

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
I have this kit in my stash too and have always disliked the size of that intake scoop. The pinstripping does help with toning down the appearance of it's size.
Your harness upgrade sure looks great Colin.

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
Looking good Colin, looking forward to seeing what you do with the body, I really like those wheels.
IIRC that was the reason I bought the kit, with plans of casting them for a Rod truck build.

That is looking great Colin. Nice stance to it.
How about lime green and putrid purple if you want 'stand out'!!!

How's about some alclad colour changing stuff? You can get different from the green - blue that I used.
Or nip to TKMAXX and look through their nail polish?

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
I am hooked on nail polish now, the colours are so awesome, and so damn cheap at the dollar store.

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
Nail polish no good for me I'm afraid as I don't own an air brush and they're too patchy to brush paint
Cheers for the input and ideas though chaps

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
A lime green and Fluo red would be pretty wild together. The stance looks good!

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
All the model shows and contests I have been to this is the first time I have seen this kit built. Outstanding job on it also. Really enjoying the build.

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
Details all look great !
That'd be a nice set up to use on a build of something other than the bus (also).

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
Thanks chaps
After looking at what Curt's doing with his jackson pollock machine (lol ... he'll kick me for that) i'm going to go for a hippy bus type thing ... flowers and rainbows and butterflys and CND logo's and pretty colours ...
It's going to be groovey man ... cat, dog, pigeon, spiny anteater, aardvark ... whatever heh heh

I don't mind the Pollock referance one bit. In fact I think I am going to tag it with a similar name sake.
Do it! Sounds fun Colin, I really can't wait to see what you do.

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
Very nice,re the colour what about Ford electric orange (a candy) as used on the Focus S.T.Available in Halfords btw..

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
I've stood in halfords for about half hour Nige ..... there's some nice electric colours available and i did ponder on some ford colours (orange being one of them)
I'm still in two minds whether to go for the hippy bus in all honesty...
Was thinking about a fade from yellow through green to a nice royal blue at the rear with some yellow and red pinstriping ...

It would look good ... but i wanted to get away from a predominant yellow colour if i can.

Re: Monogram S'cool bus
There are ssome nice colours in the Ford range (used to work for them!) was in the bodyshop one day and they had some fiesta purple mixe up for spraying,so I 'borrowed' some..
