1926 Ford Sedan Delivery
I just recently started this kit.
It will be placed in the parking lot at Ruth's Place for the cruise in.
Here is the first mock up of the sedan.
The sedan has been primed with Scale Finishes Gray Primer and the color coat is Sinful Colors Finger Nail Polish #835. I should have more to post in the next couple of days.
By the way, here are the cars I am thinking of placing on the parking lot at Ruth's.
1. The 1926 Model T.
2. 1949 Mercury low-rider.
3. 1949 Ford Coupe.
4. 1932 Ford three window Coupe.
5. 1937 Chevrolet Coupe.
From this I guess you can figure out the era that is intended is the 1950s.

Body style was never one of my favorites, but the engine frame/running gear of the kit was really custom. Parts are pretty delicate so careful work is a must. The spinners, when added to the wheels, will help their appearance too. This will add nicely to any diorama/display/

Re: 1926 Ford Sedan Delivery
It's been a bit longer making this post that I thought it would be. Seems that real life and a short case of the flu interfered. Anyway the 26 T is finished. Here are a couple of photos I took along the way. Note that there are no shots of the engine. That's because there isn't one. Because the cars for the diorama are going to mounted on the base permanently and will not be picked up by judges, I decided to make them curbsides.
That's it. I'll be posting a NMA in a few minutes. I hope you guys like this one.

Look great John, like the paint with finger nail polish.
Question : What do you use for thinner with the finger nail polish ??
I've tried it a couple of times but didn't come out good .

John: I use lacquer thinner to thin the polish. The amount depends on the brand of polish. This was a ratio of two parts polish to one part thinner. In most cases though I thin it 1:1 polish and thinner. I then shoot it at approximately 25psi.
