Ok, let's get this one done. All body preperations are done. It just needs a polish now.

I'm going for a black and tan interior. The carpet didn't go to plan. The seatbelts are made out of metal.

What did you use on the wash for the leather seats? Looks so real. Hasegawa's 1971 Lamborghini Miura. 1705482731

I based it with Citadel's Snakebite Leather (Revell's Aqua 'Wood brown' looks very close), then a wash with brown and orange ink in the deep parts and a mix of Snakebite leather and yellow for the highlights.

Hi H,

This looks good, one of my favourite Lambo's too, love the interior, I think you've got the seat colour pretty spot on to the originals too...

The interior on this looks so realistic. WOW! Very, very impressive. Describe the belts in a little more detail, as they could be real ones. Fantastic craftsmanship!

The belts are from a photo etched 'Sparco' 4 point racing harness from Eduard. I was going to use it for a rally car I have in my stash but I find I can put it to a more flexible use.

Ditto on what everyone else wrote! Unanimous on a superior interior!  From dash to seats it gets a 100!

I have enjoyed detailing this partial engine.
Hasegawa's 1971 Lamborghini Miura. 008_en10

I tried to keep it as close as possible to the reference photos i'm using.
Hasegawa's 1971 Lamborghini Miura. 007_en10

I think i'll tidy up the outer frame a bit as I think i've gone too heavy with the drybrushed grey.

Just put a wash on it. What method did you use for the interior carpet?

The white glue and flocking technique. It didn't really work out for me.

It's really fabulous all round, I built it years ago in the same colour. It's a nice kit.

Shame you won't see the engine detail on the top half.

I assume we'll see nice underside detail on the exhaust system too.

Shay.

I plan on making the back fin things (I really can't recall what they're called) removable so that it can be seen. If I were to redo this kit then the whole back would be cut open and hinged. That would be a lot of work though.

Excellent job on a basic engine H. Looks really good. The braided hoses look spot on.

I'm not sure but doesn't someone do a Miura with full engine detail?
