I knew going in that this wasn't going to be all that easy. This is the motorcycle tank that inspired me to try this:
I have the hood done. Looks nasty in some places if one looks closely. Now I have to do the body !!
When this is done, I think I'll try to fold a fitted sheet !

I'm glad I went with orange instead to red as I originally intended.
I have the rest done and am ready for some clear coats to even it all out.

After a battle with an inanimate object (Iwata), I finally managed to get the final clear coat on ! Now I can start wrapping this puppy up !

Superb work Clay. I couldn't remember where I left off on your build so started at your latest post, then worked backwards to the earlier stages of your flames and still can't figure out how someone can do that, but you certainly did!
