57 Ford Del Rio Ranch Wagon
This is a new kit from Monogram and it looks real good with a lot of features like a separate frame, detailed front and real susp, detailed 312 eng. and a nicely done int.
Box Art
Parts count
and a very nicely done chrome tree
decal sheet which has green seat inserts and the gold for between the body chrome trim and the tires
Going to go with the box art colors cause I already have both paint colors and box stock, I might do plug wires but am going to start this today and will up date as I go and let you know of any issues

Re: 57 Ford Del Rio Ranch Wagon
Want to see this one. My father had a '57 Ford wagon back in the mid 60's,
it WAS blue -white-blue until my older brother spotted it with primer gray. He was
going to paint it but the paint he ordered got lost in a train crash. My father
drove the car to it's death in that "urban camouflage" scheme. This should bring
back memories!---John

Interesting looking kit. I like the array of police and sheriff decals they provide.

Re: 57 Ford Del Rio Ranch Wagon
Started with the eng. and went together very good, got the block and tranny together, put the heads, valley cover, front cover, water pump, valve covers and the intake on and painted Ford engine red, painted the exhaust manifolds and the carb, installed a wired dist. and drilled the holes in the heads for the plug wires
going to do the plug wires next and then do the fuel pump and fuel lines that are with the kit and they even have the decals for the tbird emblem on the valve covers. So far just a little bit of fitting and it goes together nicely.
Will up date when I get more done
