Re: 30ish art deco coupe
Hi, Max. Good to see you back !!!
Dave. Sorry, I have no rememberance which carcass I took that interior from. It had to be narrowed to fit the body. As did the dash, which was from something else.
Colossally lucky find of the day, (for the decade, as far as that goes) (Buck knows)... a pair of 41 Ply coupe red plastic taillight lens' that can be cut down for this !! They were found in two different locations in the salvage piles !

Really nice job on the interior. Can't tell it was narrowed at all.

I set my can of Duplicolor red out in the warm Florida sun for a spell to warm up. The humidity was low, so I have color now !!

Wow, that big sled looks cool in that color. Are you going to add some BMF to the trim areas?
I've got to get one of those kits.

Looks like it's doing 60 standing still. Cool!

Awesome Clay. I agree that it looks like it is going fast while standing still!! I am a sucker for anything red.

Looks good in red Clay. The wheel looks a bit small, maybe just the angle.

Re: 30ish art deco coupe
Intake and exhaust installed. Intake not quite nostalgic for the build, but it looks better than a couple of tubes sticking out. Windshield not co-operating, might have to redo them.

Reminiscent of the Auburn boattail. I think it's sharp.

Re: 30ish art deco coupe
Yay !! I got my computer back !
BOO HISS !! This build came to a disappointing end during it's absence.
As I was putting on the very last piece, the small right side oval headlight lens left the tweezers at a high velocity and an undetected trajectory !!!
I would have had better luck looking for a single snowflake out in my Florida yard !
So, it is as done as it is gonna get !!

Looks good Clay! Isn't it amazing how fast pieces leave the end of a pair of tweezers? I think there is nothing faster in the universe.

Too bad about the lens Clay. The overall build is looking great though.

I hear that. I think they reach warp speed instantly. The Human body would never be able to handle the G force. Car is looking good Clay. Maybe a member has a lens laying around their stash. That would be cool.

Re: 30ish art deco coupe
Thanks, Max, but, I've built it, shown it, an now it's stashed away with all the other crap I've built .
Family will have to deal with them when I finally kick the bucket.
