Does look a nicely moulded kit, I like the look of the engine.

Your starting with a super engine, already with dual plug "holes" and dual magnetos. Wire each magneto to plugs as if it were the only one. Organizing wires, hmmmm, check fotos on the web to see what they do.

Re: Top Fuel Dragster, Revell 1/25 scale
so all i got done today is the motor. used 0.3mm jewellery wire in red and black for the plug wires
i know the maggys are not strictly correct but its good enough for me at the moment
just need to touch up the red in a couple of places

Re: Top Fuel Dragster, Revell 1/25 scale
quick update
motor is in the frame
cant do much more building wise as i have made a start on the decal job.....not proving to be easy as the decals seem to be quite old, the carrier is cloudy, dosnt show up on the white body shell but dosnt look too good on coloured parts. the long ones going on the shell are requiring loads of microsol to get the to lay flat

Re: Top Fuel Dragster, Revell 1/25 scale
and finished..............
all came together at once.......made a little stand for the body shell since it seemed a shame to display it on the vehicle and hide everything underneath
went with a black spoiler. it seems there was black, white and green ones that were interchangable depending on track conditions
more pics in the finished thread

Very strange looking, but evolution takes the path that works! Looks great and is a vital element in motorsport history, rear engine ultra long dragsters are part of it all.
