This is a UK based company, http://www.scalelink.co.uk/acatalog/Car_Kits___Scale_1_24.html

I have no connection with them, but I'm thinking of the 1920 Vauxhall 30/98E. Some of the PE wheels might appeal too.

Cheers,

Chris

The metal kits have come a long way, whether as unbuilt or built models. Waay back, there was only one line of metal kits, Hubley, and they had a clumsy look and bodies came as halves that were screwed together, as were many other parts. They were mostly old classic cars (maybe a pick up or two?) and the wire wheels had thick chromed spokes that didn't help the looks. The variety of models and abundance of aftermarket parts makes today's hobby more interesting. Thanks for the tip for folks wanting rare models.
