Ahoy Here is a scratch build of the Battleship USS MARYLAND this is how she appeared during the attack at Pearl Harbor....... The model is built from paper and cardstock and other materials, The cagemast was made from woven heavy fuse wire using a jig as a former for the fire control stations...... I built this 18 yerars ago the only part on the ship that wasn,t made from my hands was the railings the railings came from Loren Perry gold medal models the model is built using plans from Edward Wessesser in the scale of 1/192 leaving the model at 39 inchs in length. Here she is.

Another winner for sure. 39 inches long is a big model. Do you display all your models?

Nice interpretation of the Pearl Harbour veteran. A brand new 1/700 scale version of this ship was recently released by Trumpeter.
