Cool!
Not too knowledgeable on warships (not at all, actually), But the superstructure looks more rearward than most. Pretty gun heavy forward. Doesn't the majority of battleships have heavy guns facing rearward also ?
This baby looks like it might be prone to wheelie upon heavy acceleration :drunken:

I think this ship was a 'victim' of the Washington Naval Treaty. During construction they sawed off the back half. :D

Isn't it amazing that the battleship is so impressive looking, so powerful, and now it is nearly obsolete. It was a sad end that in the '80s we used one to shell Beirut to no great effect beyond killing people and destroying civilian buildings. Those 16" (?) guns just appear so strong. Time and technology change everything. Glad there are examples for history and future generations to study.
