This is a great kit. The parts aligned beautifully from start to finish. The model is built OOB and is displayed on a board I use for photographing my ships. The water effect is made using Derivan Medium Gel and primer, paint, varnishes etc. If anyone is interested I could post a tutorial later.

Chris, what you achieve in braille scale really makes my hands and eyes hurt just looking at it. :D

You only realise how small they are when the paint pot gives them proportion.

Well built! In a slightly off topic link, below is an account of the loss of HMS Prince of Wales, and a dive expedition.

PoW was sunk in the same action, both ships can be dived, but are protected as wargraves.
Pow's bell was salvaged in last decade.

It's not light reading, but most interesting.

Thanks Webby, that was a great link, thank you so much for sending it. You're right, not light reading, but plenty of interesting facts, diagrams and photos.

I also think this is fabulous. The ships are so small!!

I also would be very interested in a tutorial on the water for the seascapes. This looks so realistic!
