1969 Ford Galaxie 500XL

Well, it's finished! That's all I can say. LoL I started this build back around 2010 mainly for the Vinyl Roof Tutorial that I have to redo. I didn't do much to it except change the tires to something a bit more realistic. I added plug wires, a fuel line, and a vacuum hose to the engine. Not much else could be done. Painted Dupli-Color Ford Apple Red. Trim done with a silver Sharpie. Enjoy!

Wowser, fantastic! The engine is primo and the vinyl roof is "tops!" I missed getting one of the kits back when and had always wanted to do one as a demo derby car. Your work there is as good as any I ever saw if a vinyl roof job.

I love 1960s cars, nothing subtle about it, it's a look at me kinda thing :D . A great job Jason.

Thanx everyone! It was a build that fought me all the way, but I was glad I built it. Maybe my adopted mom is looking down and smiling at me as I did this almost as a replica of her 1:1. She is also the one who bought this kit for me.
