Ok, here is where I try and get work done. It is in a larger mess than normal. for now the boys and I share an old kitchen table. That will be replaced with an 8' folding conference table. The wall mount show cases and the larger glass case hold our more current builds. Three white tubs under the white fronted cupboard hold years of old builds. The gray metal shelves are supplies and parts boxes. The pine cupboards try and hold the stash, with plenty of overflow stacked around. The small wooden desk with the fold down top. (secretary) was my modeling station for many years.

My goodness Sam, how do you find anything in there? People could die there and you'd only find out when they begin to decompose!!!

Sam, great work area. And what a stash. I like building trucks, as I worked designing them for 34 years. I see a bunch of big rig models in the one photo. Way to go.

Good to see that you share it with your boys. I tried to get my two interested, but no dice. Now they are grown adults with other vices (one likes horses, the other mountain bikes).

Pete, my father-in-law drives truck, so I started collecting some of the stuff that he used to drive. When they lived in Portland he drove for CF. I have a set of the doubles, and the resin transkit for the international. He has been driving dumptrucks over in Newport the last 30 years and I have finally got all the parts to reproduce his first Mack, and his 96 Kenworth t800. He is in a 2011 T-800 now and I have a boatload of pics from that. Collecting the parts and kits for these also led me to get a bunch of other stuff so I could build a few log trucks also since that is big over on the coast as well.

That's a big difference. The only thing missing is someone sitting at the bench working on a kit.
