Very nice paintwork. Not an often seen model - cool!

Keep going.
This was back in the day when the Ferrari 308 and Porsche 928/911 didn't go much faster in US spec.

Hi Ron, I don't think I've had the pleasure. It's a little quiet here of late, Al had a fight with a step ladder and ended up in hospital, Kats still hasn't finished his bike and Dublin boy is being the usual trouble maker, nice little corner of the internet here though.
I'm liking what you're doing with this Corvette.

Beautiful work so far! The red-on-red is quite emphatic but is totally appropriate for the era and the car. Looking forward to watching the development.

Flocking is very effective.

Great result with the flocking - that's a look that cannot be achieved with paint.

The interior is looking grand. I really need to try this flocking thing, seems all the cool kids are doing it.

Nice. I've never successfully applied flocking in the past, it always turns out like sponge for me.

That really looks sharp, nice paint too.

I've herd and seen many have had much better results with embossing powder. It seems that a simple lite shot of paint and the shakeNbake method leaves nice even coverage.

Ive used embossing powder... and the good thing about it, is you can paint over it the desired color. For me, its messy and seems to shed off more then flocking. I have turned this vette upside down a hundred times while working on it and yet to have flocking fall off... for me, again for me...not so much on the embossing powder. But I have several cars with embossing powder from the past..but Ive been using flocking for many years so, just my preference.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'll give both a try. Keep up the good work on this WIP.
