Awesome job. The striping came out beautiful. I'm surprised stripes weren't included in the kit.

That's a stunner and no mistake Dave. Stripes are particularly well done.

Beautiful.
Being the devil's advocate here...
The panel gaps in black might look better with a 50/50 mix of black and body colour?
Please take this as constructive criticism Dave.

How dare you!! I'll tear you limb from li... ahem.
Thats perfectly fine. I did actually experiment at first by using brown ink instead of black as I always think that a 'merging' of colour looks best, for example using grey on a white bodywork and brown for orange but I thought using brown with yellow gave me the impression of Banana for some reason so I went with the black.

You can always use a 0.005 marker to blacken the panel lines after primer and then paint.
I have one called a Uni pin fine line. Got it in our version of WHS easily.
I'm not normally a fan of ink washes on light coloured jam jars, but it's very well done.
Going to the pub now where you can't find me Dave

Thanks for the positives guys.
You can buy the heritage kit complete with proper decals and such but I just had the bog standard kit so when I was going through what colours I had left and settled on the yellow, I came across photos of it when I was researching and thought why not.
Nismo34 - You're no hack.

STUNNING work as always. Looks like it will start right up and drive off the work bench. Thanks for posting your great work and sharing your building philosophy.

Awesome build! The body (paint and stripes and all) is stunning but I am still gob smacked over what you did with the 1 piece undercarriage - truly remarkable work.

Hi,
That's a stunner, Yes Sir!!!
It's quite a nice Tamiya, but you nailed it in every aspect. The chassis is especially awesome!
Cheers,
Nuno.
