Re: Duck (Dual Cowl to Truck)
Thanks for all the comments and encouragement.
Turned to the front glass and used this abused piece from the junk box.
Next, I handled the major damage with 220 grit wet sanding and cut to shape of the truck's windshield.
Here is the end product after progressing from 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 2000, 3000, 3200, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000, then Novus 2 and Novus 1 polish.

Wow, great work, Chris. Usually when I polish clear plastic too much, I get noticeable stress cracks.

Re: Duck (Dual Cowl to Truck)
Continuing work on the frame and suspension.
After gazing at the Toyota Supra box left on the desk after stealing the engine for the Chevelle I decided to incorporate the rear suspension for this build.
Here the "frame" from the Toyota is incorporated into the truck and a new interior floor that had a transmission tunnel cut from parts box item (a Revelle Monte Carlo part).
I found some wheels and Tires from a (I think) a Monogram Lamborghini to use. The rear still needs a bit of tweaking to line up vertically in the wheel wells.
I lengthened the Chevy frame a bit to have enough cowl to radiator room, lopped off the previous work for the rear, added motor mounts, added a transmission mount, and a mount for the front suspension.
I few more adjustments and this "View from the Sewer" (A Cliff Quote) will be dialed in.

A nice rear suspension swap. And the 'biggie' tires look great.

Talk about a Frankenstein machine. Excellent 'genetic engineering' with this one.

Re: Duck (Dual Cowl to Truck)
A minor update as work continues on the body and interior and (as always), views and feed back fuel the build ... Thank You.
Added rear tail lights from scrap spruce angel cut (to match the body contour) and a license plate mount made from a scrap bumper which had a large indent. I cut out the indent and flipped it over with a 180 degree rotation. Also done (not pictured) were scribing the door lines (not a strong point ... after 3 tries have something that will work ... ish).
For the interior, found a parts box item for the dash and cut down the Caddy's interior panels. Once molded-in detail was sanded away, new door lines added by half-round stock (more work to come here).
A hardy thanks to all who make this forum possible.

Re: Duck (Dual Cowl to Truck)
Great progress! Question about the motor, is the blower/supercharger offset or awaiting final placement? It looks weird and cool offset, if that's what you're planning.

Re: Duck (Dual Cowl to Truck)
I have wrapped up the engine; pretty much parts box items; modified items or things i threw together:
Block & Transmission: Mercedes V10
Head: Scrap Plastic shaped to fit
Valve Cover: Two V-8 Hemi joined w/ seam filled
Blower: Parts box item from unknown kit
Pulleys: Various parts box items cut from fan belt assemblies
Fan belts: Painted medical tape
Distributor Wire: Radio Shack Wrapping Wire with looms and plug boots made from scrap plastic
Air Cleaner: Thunderbird Item (for no real reason other then to give it light of day)
Alternator bracket: Made from scrap plastic
Blower drive and pulley support: Made from scrap platsic
Oil pan: Fabbed from front sump (moved to rear) off block with two mufflers from parts box
Kats, I like hanging a blower off of straight 6's. Here are two others I made over the year based off a Lotus 6 and and Chevy 6:

Re: Duck (Dual Cowl to Truck)
Excellent work! Love the detailing and modding, great work with that extended belt set up. The offset blower really does it for me though, it adds that touch of 'Mad Engineer' to the whole thing.
