The 22 year build Empty The 22 year build

..... I know I'm notorious for starting builds and then not finishing them, but I believe this is the worst example of my malady ...... I painted and decaled  this body in 1992  as a test to see what Lennie Pond's Pepsi livery would look like on an '80's Monte Carlo Notchback body ..... I put it in a box and forgot about it ........... 22 years later it found it and finally completed it ...... I hope the enamel "gassed out" and completely dried in that time span The 22 year build 3871844300

Funny how a light blue, "Petty blue," for example, can look great. Others like this one, with the Pepsi logos, just doesn't seem as exciting. I'm surprised with your many creations you've shared, there are any unfinished!

i always enjoy the "what if" schemes and this one is a cool fast forward and throwback all in one the mid to late 80s cars are a favorite of mine because i was seeing them firsthand as a youngin i like the white wheels and the white goodyear bias ply tires super work!!

I wouldn't risk it. Needs more curing time! It looks good as the successor to the Pepsi Chevelles/Malibus from the '70s.

A great looking build with a beautiful finish finally sees the light of day.  Nice work.   The 22 year build 1705482731

Which reminds me - I probably have some 20 year old WIP's at the bottom of my WIP  box.   The 22 year build 1792231099

Is that a Monte Carlo? It looks more like a Mali-blue. Thanx again for one of the little remembered cars and drivers of the sport.

Beautiful, clean build! The 22 year gap gives it a 'time capsule' aura - especially with the 'old fashioned' graphics of the logo's.
