It's baaaack! Nice to see this re-do in process once again. Question about the dash, is that an 8-Track player/radio or am I misinterpreting? Looking forward to the further evolution.

Looking great Curt.
Is the whole dashboard going to remain chromed?

Very nice Curtis...! I need to learn how to make hinges for some I plan on opening up the doors on sometime...or which ones to use for them. Vans are one of them..those wont be easy at all specially the cargo doors. When ever I can find one of the old MPC 71 to 75 Dodge vans it will have full custom interior and want to be able to have it seen and the doors close and look right...real tough one..LOL..

Nice work with the hinges - I recall there had been some thinking about this before. Looking forward to what comes next.

Re: 49 Merc, Redo/Detail
Thanks gents.
This redo was one of the most challenging and frustrating projects to date. I have never ever lost my temper when building before this kit, I actually tossed a pair of pliers across the room trying to get the hood hinges to line up. NEVER again am I doing a build over, once it's done it's done.
Too stressful and tedious working around finished paint and parts, lesson learned. Moving forward from now on.
It finally back together and in the finished forum.
