1980 Porsche 928
Hi Everybody :)
We all love big american V8's, but Porsche, famous for its rear-mounted engines, got it in the late 70's.... IMHO they nailed it, though Porsche enthusiasts may disagree. I'm by no means a Porsche guy, but this one is the Porsche to have.
As for the kit, it's Fujimi, just a simple curbside, easy fitting and fun to build.
Cheers,
Nuno.

There's a beautiful dark metallic red S4 around the corner from my Mother's house.

A rarely seen Porsche model. Nice work there.

Oh my! What a fine job on one of the oddest of Porsches. The design wasn't Porsche-like, nor like a racer. In reviews at the time, it and it's cousins (924 and 944) they just didn't excite much. Plus, the 928 was pricey. The unusual op-art seat material often shown in ads put some folks off as well. As for models, I bought a number, never got around to building then tho. I had all the fotos (hard to find pre-internet!), and really wanted to get to them. Alas, I never did.

Hi,
Thanks for your kind words.
Indeed, back in the day Porsche caused quite a stir among enthusiasts and general public.
Still, nearly 40 years after I guess they nailed it... A huge success, if just they badged the 928 with a different marque.

Hi,
Thank you for your words!
Paint is «Melon Yellow», basically yellow with a light orange hue.
Cheers,
Nuno.
