......... the wonderful Wizard of OZ.

That's probably too old for most of you............ LOL

Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know that I'll be out of touch mostly for the next three weeks as I'm flying out to SLC, Utah to stay with my Bro! and very good friend JohnJ and his lovely wife, at 6am (groan!!) tomorrow morning.

So I'll catch you all on the flipslide guys.

He's coming to the land of the still wild West. The first order of business is to put him in a Stetson and teach him how to shoot. You know us crazy Americans and our attachment to guns!!

Thanks guys. Temp here last few days has been high nineties and even over night has been in the seventies. Little cooler today and some light rain thank goodness. Today we went to Hill Air force base Aerospace Museum and saw some really cool aircraft. Boy the size of some of them is unbelievable. Saw a Siskorki transport chopper ant it was as high as the ridge tiles on my house!!!!!!! Tomorrow we are going indoor karting in SLC. Then there is the gun range to too and shoot some bullets, a three day trip to Cody to take in Custer's Last Stand attraction, then a days fishing for Big and Small Mouth Bass and White Bass. Oh and at least a day at Bonneville.

Sounds like a great trip, Al. If you can tear yourselves away from guns/planes/karts, I'd suggest
Monument Valley and the Valley of the Gods as great places to visit.
Have a great time you two!

Cheers,
Chris

We are headed for Cody, Wyoming today via Yellowstone today. Going as far as Idaho Falls where my youngest daughter will have dinner waiting along with the great grand kids. I hope Al survives. It gets chaotic what with eight kids, all under the age of eight.

Cody is a great place. Old Trail Town is well worth a look. Anne & I passed that way a few months ago. Happy trails, and the drive from Yellowstone to Cody is truly spectacular, isn't it?

Hi all, having a great time and tomorrow we are off to Bonneville.

Bad news though. Last night a storm hit my home area and brought down a fully grown Beech tree, probably 80 feet tall, which hit the roof of my garage where my kit car is. My lady friend can't shift the debris so a friend is doing that tomorrow. Bad enough the tree wrecking the garage roof, just hope the car is ok as it is not insured. Typical,. I have lived there for. 34 years and it chooses to come down when I am 5000 miles away.

I have some photos on my mobile phone but can't figure how to post them here from it. I can select all four but then can't find a send button, so if anyone can help etc........
