This kit just arrived a couple of days ago.  A little too late to get it into the CB, so I'll start it's own WIP.

I'll start off by showing you the un-packing.

Thanks Al.  It's not until I started studying the instructions that I realized how advanced these bikes were for there time.

All of the parts for the first step which is the engine.  The main block assembled.

The heads

I stacked up the fins to see what it was going to look like

Nice one Paul..... they look to be well moulded white metal parts.

Will you be polishing the casings to a high shine? or going with traditional black?

Big part of the 'ton up' club back in the day, the cops ran a few Daimler SP 250s to chase them.

Al, I'll be doing the traditional black.

The two pieces that make up the frame.   Glued together, then with the tank in place.

I jigged up the heads and then the mounts for the frame.  The engine is hung from the frame and the rear swing arm is attached to the rear of the engine.  Very similar to what Ducati does with their superbikes.   But Vincent did it first.

Awesome work! I have almost zero experience with this sort of kit, it looks excellently involved and detailed. Looking forward to watching this

Thanks guys. Kats, with your scratch building skills, you would have no problem building one of these kits.

I spent some time getting the wheel hubs ready.

Then I assembled the brake drums.  Several pieces of p/e are stacked up to achieve the finned look.

Thanks Gary

I cleaned up the parts for the front end and assembled it to make sure everything was in alignment.

Sorry if I've missed it earlier Paul, but what adhesive are you using for the white metal parts. Great progress and quality work.

Great stuff! And now I have to clean my screen of my morning Scotch & Coke after the crazy glue cartoon.

Only kidding about the Scotch! It was water.

LOL...I figured you guys would get a kick out of the crazy glue cartoon.

While checking fit on parts, I discovered my handlebar was wrong.   After a day of head-scratching I figured out that I had gotten the handlebar from the earlier version Vincent in my kit.  I sent out an email to MFH, and they told me they would send the correct one.
