It's very difficult to capture a glass like shine on silver paint.
Looking good!
Is there enough clear on it to polish out, or does it need a brave pill and more clear?

I think there's enough for a polish.

Re: 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa
90% of the time I use loctite super glue gel unless I need to do glass in which case I use GS Hypo and I only use the Revell contacta to glue obvious plastic on plastic, usually engine block parts.

What's gs hypo?
The stuff I got is Bob Smith Inudustries supergold plus, I'm hoping it will be a go to glue for everything. apart from plastic on plastic.

I assume you can't just buy it in a shop David?
I use a nodelling white glue for clear parts called Speed Bond. it's made in England, but that looks like a better option.

Excellent progress! I also love GS Hypo glue for all manner of things beyond scale models - the stuff can be used to set glass to metal. Loving the detail work on the chassis, looking forward to the development.
