Everyone's painting here and I'm feeling way behind.  I planned to use the color of the plastic and clear it over.  The color is nice and dense.   But Tamiya put a wrench in that plan.  I guess they had the basic Tyrrell released already when they decided to release the Monaco version.  This required slight changes to the side plates of the rear wing and also the seat piece of the body.  The side plates should be blue, so what did they do?  Added supplemental parts on a WHITE sprue.  So, I'm waiting for a can of Tamiya TS15 to arrive by mail.

I have worked on the motor and trans, though.

You're not miles behind Mike, you have a DFV, I don't even have an engine

Engine/trans, the heart of the car. Very cool indeed!

Nice work Curt.

I think I have the ride height sorted out.

Here are the kit wheels Cole, they look terrible.

Curt: Nice work. That reminds me, I need a haircut.
Mitch: Will you be opting for the wider tires as well?

The paint scheme is finished for the Gazelle. Now for a clear coat, lighting, and decals. Then I can begin on the interior.

Mitch: Those new wheels look great, this build is really coming together.
Cole: That hood is wild.

Good start Mike, one of my all time fav F1 designs. Watching your build and Paul's come together is going to be fun.

Shay: good looking paint buddy, best of luck with the decals.

Cheers Curt, I'm in two minds as to polish out the white paint and then decal it which would be correct, or decal it, then clear and polish which looks better in scale.

Better get the decals on first I suppose. lol

The topside, front, and port side decals are finished. I was rather surprised at seeing American sponsors on the adverts. Now for the starboard side, and then the interior.

Got another wet coat on the 935, I'd forgotten how hard it is to show the shine on white paint.

Anyway it shouldn't take long to polish out a bit.

Body will be white, fenders will be blue and the top of the hood and grille will be red.

I knackered the pezz out of the hood opening so I filled it  in some and will us the scoop.
