Ducati MHR.........sort of
had a bit of a slump recently, and i think its mainly down to the subjects ive been doing and the failures ive had, i need to do something thats going to go together with no drama.....therefore a Tamiya bike kit lol
i started this many years ago and it ended up on the shelf of doom after i cocked up the paint job twice! Since now the decals are a little suspect so im not going to bother with the MHR scheme and do a plain all over Ducati Red

Sounds great. I built the cafe racer in black which is basically this kit stripped back.

Re: Ducati MHR.........sort of
You could try some Halfords or any acrylic clear over the decals Paul.
You would have to cut each decal out apparently, I never tried it, just a couple of mist coats is supposed to work.

Re: Ducati MHR.........sort of
I always thought it would make the decal crack over any compound curve, lots of Microsol?
I must give it a try.

x2. I've used Testors Dulcote on aged decals to stabilise them. Since I usually trim the carrier film I did the whole sheet with Dulcote.
But, as they say with carpet cleaners, "test on inconspicuous area first"!

Looking good Paul. Always like these bikes and kits, never a fan of the green.
