1961 Ventura
This was my "take on holiday" kit from last October. Mobius kit, finished in rattle can Tamiya Blue . I'd been dreading doing the silver sections of the sides, so I'd been putting it off. I ended up using thinned down silver ,and flowing it on, with the car on it's side. Let dry and repeat, then BMF in the usual manner.
I really like the clean, low lines of these and their Chevrolet counterparts. It's a good kit too. My only issue was the windscreens. They go on from the outside, and needed some sanding to get a decent fit. I also sanded their top reveal mouldings down too. Enough of me, here she is.

A beautiful job, Chris. And a great color choice, too.

Very well done, only one little thing, heater hoses are a bit small.

I think they are about right to scale. What makes them appear too small is the fact that most plug wires used on models are actually a little too big unless you want to use a single strand of copper or aluminum wire painted for them.

Fine job! Mobius is a low production run, a bit pricey line, but I can't complain about having any new kits of previously rare or never issued models! The work is great, right down to the nicely detailed wheels.
