'57 sectioned
been eyeballing this test body and getting antsy !
So I sent Egor out to the salvage grave yard, and he came up with some stuff.
I have SO been wanting to build an engine with a lime green tranny and a red highrise manifold ! I mean, who wouldn't ?
Alas. couldn't get the heads off to fix this up ! Have to forgo that green tranny. But, Igor got some other stuff together, and we'll see what we can make of it. Found parts for another engine, and scavenged some wheels that will go together, maybe some parts that will make a half believable front clip.

Re: '57 sectioned
I have 2 models to finish up then I am on this like stink in an outhouse !
Since I will be bashing a chassis, I plan to go deeper with the pie cut section so it will be more obvious.

Re: '57 sectioned
Subtle but it has a huge effect on the lines of the body. Looking forward to seeing the development

Re: '57 sectioned
That is WICKED, Buck !! Ya suppose that's a 'glass special for drag racing?
Mine will be a little tamer than that !
This salvaged body is bare naked. Nothing else, so,scrounging for something to slap on the front, I found this Camero front clip with grille, It had to be widened. I'll have to come up with something else for some fill in.

Re: '57 sectioned
I like the Camaro grille - gives the front end a 'mean' look. Not sure what might work best for filling in the sides, maybe some decorative 'fender flourishes' or something? Anyway, looking forward to seeing what you decide to do.

Re: '57 sectioned
Simpler may be better. I sectioned a '57, but unlike you, I never finished it.
