That MB is a little cracker Cole.

Sad news. I'm putting this on the back burner for now for two reasons.

First, the new decals are for the race bike and I failed to take into account, that the race bike has a much longer fairing and the race decals are too big to fit the road bikes faring. DOH!!!

Second, I decided to see how the yellowed road bikes decals looked but the main decals were so hard to get to conform over the lumps and bumps, even with copious amounts of Microsol, they looked terrible.

So it's going back into the box while I wait for a new set of road decals to arrive from Japan. Takes about 4/5 weeks apparently!!

Oh well, c'est la vie!!

Scavenged some decals from a cast-off dragster sheet.

Up next is to make an exhaust (missing), a but more detail painting, and making a number placard for the front.

Some more progress today. Base colours put down.

And the colour coat done. The pearl doesn't show up very well unless in sunlight.

Now I just have to keep it clean.

That color combo should look fantastic once the body work is together. Everything is beautifully finished.

Hi all. I'm taking a break from bodywork prep and getting on with this bike.

That's the engine done.

I'll call this little Yamaha done. Left a good bit of detail on the work bench on this one. One of my goals was to get a feel for these kits as I recently picked up Round 2's reissue of MPC's dirt bikes.

Great work by all on the forum builds and thank you for sharing your creativity and deft skills.

Excellent job Spanky. I've always loved anything with a bit orange in it. This is orange is'nt it? or is it yellow? My monitor says orange so it better be.

Anyway, moving on. I've finished some work on the swing arm and chain.
