I am going to have to sit this build out.

The combined bits I had planed to use are just going to be too much work, and the kits are not as nearly as complete as I recalled.

Unless you guys are ok with me building this goofy thing? Of course I will build it with my trade mark twist and some funky paint work.

If not I am cool with you all keeping the build in the real realm of building.

Ok thanks for the leeway, I will try and build it to look like a possible promo/show driveable vehicle. Won't want to add too much goofeiness to the build.

This is what I will be starting with. The wheels, engine, part of the interior and wheelie bars are off a dicast promod '63 Vette.
No idea where this journey is going to take me.

It will be a Plastic Freak Creation and that's good enough for me Curt.

BTW.... how did you mock that up?

Turned on a lathe Curt, they are really gorgeous. Got them as a complete surprise in a trade.

Is that eye gone kit 1/20th scale? That's what Dublin google-fu is telling me so far. LOL.
Looks good.

Unfortunately they're not available retail Al, a guy I did a deal with in the US was knocking up a set for himself and kindly asked if I'd like a pair. He has no interest in producing and selling them, more's the pity. Even the tiny bolts are ally and glued on!

Diamond Geezer in fairness.

Something about this build has stirred up the desire to build something, so if you don't mind me giving it a go, I have this abandoned project I traded for a few years ago on another site. Top is chopped, and wheels and engine started. The rest of it is untouched and as I found last night, the frame is missing...but I happen to have a few boxes of 32 parts so I should be able to come up with something. Hopefully I can harness some of Clays "imagineering".

I'll get a start on the engine and suspension tomorrow.

Fiat Broom Yellow is supposed to be the same as Ferrari Giallo Fly, or so they say.

Looks like Shay is doing his own double build.

Last night I think I found all the parts I need. Now I just have to settle on engine choice,wheel\tire combo and paint. Good thing I have plenty of time while parts are in the paint stripper.

Look closely at the flathead and see what the previous builder may have done wrong. ..
