Shay asked about a kit.  I boxed, weighed, and calculated it's cost.  The box measured 14 x 7 x 11.........weight 1 pound, 9 ounches.......cost for cheapest way.....$22.30.

I increased the weight and got $24.15 for 2 lb....$31.55 for 3 lb......$38.95 for 4 lb.
I then increased the dimensions up to 15 x 9 x 12 and got the same amounts per pound.  But when the dimensions totaled more than 36, the first class rate disappeared and I only had Priority available, with a avg jump of $14.   BTW...I used USPS on-line shipping calculator.

Only change was everything went up about 20-30 cents....cheapest way went to $22.50

I had another good deal with Paul for an old Mustang racer. Had a bit of fun bantering too.

Top tip...if you can get him laughing, you might even get a few bucks off.

Disclaimer: I can't guarantee any discount will actually happen. LOL

You wouldn't happen to have any of the AMT service/car trailers with the tire rack would you..? I have been wanting to build some 60s/70s race team sets.

Sorry Mark. I used to, but they were sold years ago. The only trailers I have left are from the Edelbrock sprint cars.
