No, but after starting this one, then putting it away to concentrate on commissioned work, and magazine articles, I'd totally forgot about it, I've built 6 models for myself after I'd started this one ....

I very much doubt it, the paint quality back then were very high, primer was baked on, then two coats of lacquer were applied, then polished by hand, but I do try to get my paint finish looking factory fresh.

nearly ready for the display cabinet, a lot of the parts either needed touching up after being cut from their parts tree or re-chromed completely, liquid chrome pen to the rescue, for some reason the headlamp reflectors weren't even chromed, that was sorted in a minute or so, liquid chrome to the rescue
