Wow, missed this during my brief hiatus, amazing stuff going on Curt! The dashes are beautiful and the body colour is stunning.

You're as mad as a hatter Curt, and I mean that in a good way my friend.
Can't wait for more paint!

Re: Mazda 787b/Halloween themed.
Thanks boys added in a couple more after I cleared it.
It's all good Shay, lol. Can't wait to see you dig into that new Porsche kit of yours.
I'm hoping it will give the candy orange/green some good depth. It will all be topped with a colour changing gold/green/orange/purple or perhaps just a holographic clear.

Re: Mazda 787b/Halloween themed.
Thanks Kats!
The orange has been started, will have to blend in a few coats here and there to get the colour matched, but it's a start. I have to say I love this technique. The chrome/black looks just like pitted nickel or stainless steel that is ancient.
Can't wait to get the green on it.
I don't know if I will bother putting the race livery on it or not.
Thanks for checking it out.

Once again Curt, it's not my personal cup of tea but I applaud you skill in the execution. Outstanding.

It's magic.
You'll have to do a tutorial on what exactly you're doing with the painting and masking Curt.

Re: Mazda 787b/Halloween themed.
Thanks again guys for the interest, you all make the adventure more fun.
A little mock up and some of the dashes removed (front right fender). Not sure if I am going to follow through on the rest of my plan with all the decals. I am stoked with the turn out so far. I think the race decals and my planned decals will take away from this wild look.

Curt buddy... Looks very cool. I always wanted to learn how they do the old school(road map with fogged edges look)seen on old funny cars back in the 60s/70s era....and others.

Nice work Curt.
Why not simply apply the race numbers and leave off the contingency's?

Stunningly unusual and very eye catching. I'm with Al on just the numbers, anything else is redundant.
