Bleriot - Eastern Express 1/72
Cleared this project from the benchtop. Decided not to add the rigging between the frame spars due to the tiny spaces. Hope the Las Vegas vacation will refire my mojo for modeling. Started with clearing and cleaning up the project area.
This is an Eastern Express model which is not bad, but the instructions don't indicate where all the small decals are located. And there were no good web photos of the Imperial Russian version that I chose. PE wire wheels were added to the front.
Sorry, no WIP as it is a clean-up of an off-and-on project.
Thanks,
Mike

Great model of rare early days of flying. I remember seeing episodes of the British series "Flambards," which had the early days of flying as part of the storyline. Your model reminds me of the wild creativity of pre-WWI flying. Thank you!

Nice one Mike.
What paint did you use to represent the doped linen?

Thanks, all.
If I recall correctly, it was Tamiya Sand, brushed over with Tamiya Oily Grey weathering rub to highlight the ribs.
