I didn't get the exhaust clue at all Shay. I suspected the Farcel right away.
Here's my offering.

My internet connection is a bit dodgy at the moment, so whoever wants can go next.

Chrysler Valiant Charger is the correct nomenclature Chris?

Close Shay. Valiant Charger is how they're badged. The top of the range 4 doors were "Chrysler by Chrysler"

Since I'm such a great fellow, I'll give you a clue. It's not American, but it shares a name with an American car that was introduced in 1965. The name lasted until '96.
I'll take pity & enlighten you tomorrow my time, if you're still stumped.

Not an LTD, Shay. It's Australian, and named after a Chevrolet model introduced in 1965.

Cheers,
Chris

Holden Caprice. This body shape was around from late '74 to mid '79. I'll torment you with some more oddities after the weekend. Have a good one yourself!

The final shape Opel Omegas were built down there, but with a wider shell.

Strange things happen down there Gary, a 4 litre straight 6 Cortina, a Vauxhall Viva with a 6 pot...lol

That explains a lot really. the Viva had a stretched chassis from the A pillar forward to fit it in, no massive understeer at all I'd imagine .

Sadly all car production has finished in Oz as far as I know, no more big V8 Commodores and Falcons, maybe Chris can fill us in here.

I didn't know that, a huge country not to be making its own vehicles.
