Nice one Mike, the blast bags look great!

Thanks for both the sub and surface ships. I've been entertained and learned things. The extra work to detail them helps make a model into a historical reality.

It's sure been a long time since this one was posted on.  While trying to place one of the lifeboats, my tweezers brushed against the PE davit and PTing!!!, it went flying somewhere.  I looked for days, washing the floor by hand and moving furniture and checking my clothing, but all in vain.  I wanted to scuttle the rig, but figured I had too much time in it to do that.  No spare davits were included and I'd have to disassemble a lot of the other side to use the stock pieces, so in disgust, I just let it sit on the workbench vowing to abandon it.  Lo and behold, I decided to give the old basement sofa a spring shampoo this weekend and guess what I found clinging to the back of it - yes, the missing davit!  The sofa was nearly 10 feet away from the work table I was using at the time.  So, another project goes onto the WIP completion list.

Here's hoping I make it all the way this time.

It's finally as finished as far as I'm going to get it.  Working with PE on something this small is a major task I'd rather not do again.  I have a great respect for guys who do these tiny ships on a regular basis.

It certainly doesn't represent any one period in time for the vessel.  Something I learned too late was that Airfix supplied both deck guns and lifeboats, either of which represents a different era.  I'm still looking for some appropriate flags to attach.

At least it didn't go into the WIP box.

Thanks for looking, again.

You've done a great job Mike. The flags will be the perfect finishing touch.
