Icelandic style 4x4.
Starting an off-roader with a twist,it is inspired by the dead men walking loonies in Iceland and the have some nuts off roaders. They think nothing of racing up a vertical cliff in a 1000 bhp truck!
So a couple of kits will be combined, starting with this..
Along with the wheels and tyres off this..
Here is the chassis as standard, lots to be removed!
Gas tank, spare wheel cover and exhaust removed.
It was given a coat of titanium.
Here is the shell, not being used as it willl be a single seater and centraly mounted steering.

Re: Icelandic style 4x4.
Thanks guys,
It should be interesting,no real bodywork as such just the basics.

Re: Icelandic style 4x4.
Got the cage finished,I tried to cover every aspect of a roll/accident then sprayed it alloy..
While the brush was loaded tried some alloy on the std kit shell - quite nice methinks.

Re: Icelandic style 4x4.
Cage looks great and the color choice is going to rock when you start to add the other chassis components. Everything will contrast just right.

Re: Icelandic style 4x4.
Better put 1ton steering components on that thing. Interested in how this will shake out.

Re: Icelandic style 4x4.
That is one impressive roll cage, more like something you'd expect in a science fiction space craft than a hill climber. Agree with the colour - that is a sharp tone and will definitely set off the body details nicely!
