Finished this quicker than i thought i would ..... gives me plenty of time for another though

For some reason the macro setting gives a "fish-eye" effect  .... i can assure you the wheels are true to the body .... i had to double check when i was resizing the images.

I see what you mean Colin..... knock kneed and duck toed!! Cameras often belie wheel alignment!

Superb conversion mate! I like all of it apart from you know what!! LOL.

The '41 Chevy Pickup is done.  A nice little kit.  The only problems I encountered were that the frame doesn't really mate up to the bed and chassis at the rear.  Fortunately, the stance looks good as it is.  Also, woodgrain decals were included for the bed and side stakes, but only for the horizontal wood pieces - not the uprights.

Thanks for looking and for your comments.
Another cool Community Build for all.

I'm surprised none of the model companies has added something like a camper or cover for the bed as an option. Even a small trailer would help. Excellent work on this one, does it come with a spare tire or wipers? Color choice is very good, looks like it may have actually come in that combo.

You did a cracking job on this Mike, one for the top shelf at the front and no mistake.

Super builds guys!

Colin, holly crap dude, that really came together on point! Love it.

Mike man, what can I say, this is top shelf stuff.

I am going to go out on a rather sturdy limb here and say, for the rest of the year MOM is going to be close.

This is exciting.

Now that you mention it, I remember painting the wiper blade, but forgot where I put it to dry. I'll have to give a good look or dig in the parts box. And yes, it has a spare tire mounted under the rear.

Thanks.

Colin - That is a very cool conversion and you did it in no time at all! That engine rocks in there!

Mike - I really like the colours and you built this one clean and sharp!

and finished!
went together really quickly at the end, zero fit problems, no drama at all, all in all a lovely kit
my only gripe would be the decals...........why does it carry a Toyota logo on the grille.......small Toyota and Hilux decals on the back.....yet there isnt a big 'TOYOTA' to go on the tail gate?
