All Euro Revell kits (vehicles, military, etc) seem nicely molded. I've been reading a book of WWII magazine articles on the war. They were something else! Good luck detailing a tiny kit!

Thanks. Tips welcome. For the record, this is not the WWII carrier, but the helicopter carrier built in the 80's.

Yep, design of the hull isn't like WWII either. Sorry if I misled you. It'll be fun to see how you build detail into so small a scale (not super-small, but plenty small enough!).

I built this kit a couple of years ago and used the USS Essex decals. I didn't use any PE so I am really looking forward to seeing how yours turns out. It will be a lot better than mine.
