Opel Maultier Half Track
Gonna get started on this one in the next day or so.
On first look the kit appears clean and crisp with little to no flash. The directions appear to be pretty straight forward. I think I'll build it for service with the Afrika Corp. I'm looking forward to building this. DAMN this Dark Side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The start date is today 1st Sept ... it was agreed there's no finish date as long as the model's started within the two month period the group build runs for...... which makes it a nice laid back experience

Thanks Colin. I really didn't want to hurry this one as I have a couple of extras I intend to add that will take some time.

Re: Opel Maultier Half Track
Been away from the Dark Side for a while. I was having a pickup kick my butt so I decided to get back on this for a while. I've made some progress over the last couple of days.
My intention is to complete this as a small muddy diorama; probably at the time of the snow melt on the Eastern Front. We'll see how it turns out. Update as appropriate.

How right you are. 1/35 is as small as I will do. These old eyes just aren't up to anything smaller.
