incredibly old kit, was new tool in 1968, been fun to do something thats was on my want list back in the 70's when i was into model making the first time round

struggled a little as i always do with aircraft, tried a bit of preshading, forgot to spray the canopy twice like i did everything else lol, decals were a pain, they were a little bit reluctant to come off even though i used very hot water. was nervous when i unmasked that nose section......hate masking lol

instructions say it depicts an aircraft of the 221st Division of the Soviet Air Force, based at Oranienburg, Germany 1956

That looks great Paul. Love that tail turret.

Is it a fighter or a bomber?

I'd hate to be the one flying in the tail. Would be a bit like flying economy in Jetstar. You really did scrape off the panel lines, they can be a real pain. Looks great.

Weird combo, borrowing nose and glass from WWII bombers with more modern swept wings and jets.  It actually looks like a 1950s basic kit.  Good work.
