Whippet MkA Medium Tank 1918 Braille Scale
The mo jo for the Mercedes is low at the moment and the Aerosan P/e is driving me crazy!! So time for a 'quickie' methinks.
Construction took all of an hour including clean up!! LOL. I did give it a couple of 'grab rails' as per:
And then sprayed it with Tamiya Khaki and Khaki Drab:
Now on to the fun bit... the weathering.

Yeah, nothing like a quick kit to get the mojo back. Looks good.

Thanks guys. These little kits are great fun and not too demanding either.
Yes it is Colin.
As you would expect, not as much detail and the sponsons/tracks are molded in just two pieces. Inner and outer. Other than that, same sort of fit problems arround the 'turret' and no locating pins. Nothing to be feared off though.
Decals added and clear coated. Yes it's a Russian capture version.
Track wash applied and started on streaking:
Streaking finished, exhausts rusted and track plates highlighted:

Great weathering on the tracks. It takes patience and restraint. That's something streakers aren't known for. Neither are the WNBR cyclists who had their day on Saturday.

Hi Al,
It looks great Sir, I will never know how you all manage to not only work on these braille scaled kits but how much detail you manage to get on them...
Andy...
P.S...WOW, Erica Roe, I remember it well...
