Welcome to the forum.
What genre of kits are you buying?
I'm guessing your name is Rusty?

Re: Hello from VA
Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm currently living in Arlington. VA, and was an RC basher for a long time. Got hooked up when I got an Enzo Ferrary by Revell for my son when he was 14, he started painting it and didn't finish it, so I started to put it together and the bug bit me. So far I got muscle car kits, rally kits, few classic cars, a vw beetle to recreate the one I once owned. Actually still trying to finish the Ferrary but it became a pain since the engine door does not fit properly and the body is a little warped. I'll place some pictures when there's a real progress.

Re: Hello from VA
Thank you John2308, I like to play, now less than before, with 1/10 scale radio controlled cars, but never made it into racing seriously, because the RC tracks are too far away from where I leave, so we mostly played in parking lots and wherever we find some dirt. Currently we have several off road trucks, Traxxas, Losi SCB, Axial exo-terra and an old on road Tamiya.

I never got serious with my 2 Tamiya Frogs either just played with them in the desert ( A LOT OF ROOM THEIR ) and my friends dog's loved to chase them but never hurt them when caught.

Re: Hello from VA
Welcome rusty!!
It's a really good site with lots of experienced people here.
I had the Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 a couple of years ago, but I kept crashing it and killed 2 engines so I sold it. Far too expensive to constantly keep up with the repairs.. Now I buy kits, least I can't crash them :)

Re: Hello from VA
Thank you A5h,
RC stuff becomes expensive with time. For instance I have 4 lipo batteries puffed because didn't charge them to store appropriately, so if I want to come back into it, I need to get the batteries first, and just now, in a compulsive shopping spree, ordered a Bandai's snap kit Imperial trooper guy; at least that way I would finish something quick while working with the Ferrary. Sooo.. RC still in the closet until funds arrive, and don't want to sell them either, those dusty cars are fun
