This is a model that has been sitting on the bench for about 10 years.  It started out as a glue bomb that I disassembled and began fixing - until I got to the shrouds.  The original plastic shrouds were broken in the disassembly and I didn't like their look anyway, so it sat.  I used the same method on the shrouds I used for HMS Ark Royal and now it's finally finished.

Nice show Mike, looks a real fiddly thing with all the rigging!!

Sometimes it seems waiting and gaining experience helps revive builds that would not have been anywhere near as good if one had started and finished in one fell swoop.

Really hard to do the fine detail work with a brush.  Reminds me of (I think) a similar "Bon Homme Richard) in small scale that was around decades ago.  I like it and I'll have to check out your sails technique.
