2000 Ford Taurus NASCAR
Here's the latest I finally got time to start on . It's a 1/24 Revell
2000 Ford Taurus NASCAR done up as Darrell Waltrip's car in his
last season in NASCAR cup, the #66 K Mart car. After 20 years I
have changed from Model Master spray 16440 gray to Tamiya Insignia
White AS-20 lacquer spray for my light gray on the chassis and interior.
It is much more accurate and dries in 10 minutes NOT 10 days. So far
I have the engine and some chassis work complete.---John

I do like that chassis color better. This paint scheme should really "POP" when its done also.

Re: 2000 Ford Taurus NASCAR
I have the roll cage for the chassis done. I may stall on this for a bit, I am waiting for
decals and paint. I am thinking of starting my Revell 1/24 '70 Plymouth Superbird and
doing it as Richard Petty's '70 Plymouth Superbird NASCAR. I have pictures and information, just
going to be lots of scratch building of the chassis and interior plus I have to find the
correct engine.---John
