Ha ha, thanks.. You would have hated what I was going to do to I then.. Huge DTM style rear wing and groved discs with brembo calipers... I will save those for another time

I'm with Al, all good ( and the Mica Blue is a great choice BTW) but the wheels don't do it for me.
That said, its your model to build as you please. That's the beauty of our hobby.

Cool little hot rod pickup. Hard to believe it's a 34. It has a 32 grille and grille shell. But then again it's a hot rod it's supposed to be cool like that.

I don't recognize it at all! I like the lowness of the body and some of the ideas they built into it, (engine especially). Wheels would be better either in the blue or flat black or dark gunmetal. Blue body and white top are good together. Thanx.

Re: Lindberg '34 Ford roadster Pickup
Ash: really nice job. My only concern would be that the spark plug wires are somewhat out of scale. Otherwise it was a great job.

Re: Lindberg '34 Ford roadster Pickup
While it certainly could be a 32 grille, the Lindberg (originally AMT) 3 in 1 kit also has a similar grille. Ford would often run the pickup lines with the previous body style for a while. The 35 pickup changed quite a bit and picked up the styling cues of the 33/34 Ford passenger car. By 1935 the passenger car was restyled into a new style that continued somewhat into 1936. Here's an actual 1934 Ford PU.Zbuckster wrote:Cool little hot rod pickup. Hard to believe it's a 34. It has a 32 grille and grille shell.
