Here you go everyone !!   Get out your magnifying glasses, tweezers, high wattage lights, aspirin, and strong drink of your choice, because before your done with this Group Build, you might need all of them.....or a padded cell.

Keeping it simple, needs to be 1/144.  Starts today (since I might not be on tomorrow) and runs through the end of the year.

This will be my entry for the Build. I wont be joining in for another week yet, because I am leaving today to visit my family for a week.

They are so tiny and with so few parts, it seems like they'd be a waste. But then . . . with careful clean work and a good bit of paint, they become amazing little true to the original models! Thanx for a good idea!

OK.... I'm kicking off mine:

Sprues:

The beautifully detailed cockpit and interior:

Oddly, Revell provides two recess' for the 'joysticks' but no joysticks. SO at great expense and hours of work, I scratched a pair. LOL

Where I am at now:

Going to spray it white and do the green by brush methinks.

Thanks John.

The kit comes with wheels or ski's. As I'm doing winter camo, naturaly I chose the ski's.

First white coats on, windows added and masked, roof on permanently. Now it's on to the blue underbelly and the green bits of the camo.

Got started on my B-25H, what I got done
Wings and eng. nacelles put together

Got the fuselage painted inside, interior green added about 1/8 oz. of weight so it will sit on all 3 wheels and put the stab in and glued it together ( forgot to take pictures of that progress )

The kit come with a glass nose which the H doesn't have so you have to cut that off and glue the proper nose on that they give you and there is 4 guns on the nose but the kit don't have them so I'll see if I have any thing that small to make them.

So does that mean the whole fuselage is clear styrene? or am I misreading this?

Al, the early B-25's had a clear nose that a gunner sat in with 2 guns for forward protection then later they changed the nose to metal with 4 guns and a cannon, that's what I was talking about. Look up B-25B, C for a picture of the glass nose on the early version. The fuselage is done in white not clear.

If the fuselage is done in white John, how come you had to cut off the nose glass to glue on the solid nose?..... I'm confused here!!

Masking on and this is where it could get 'interesting'..... LOL

OK Al, I might have explained it wrong but this the early glass nose I'm talking about

they have the nose for both versions and where the glass ends on the early version is to be cut off and use the solid nose part to replace it which is correct for the H model.
