Toyota Pick-Up
I bagged this kit a couple of months ago :
...but the Chicano Wheels were far too small for the truck.
However, the 4wd drivetrain also came with the kit which I fitted, added wheels and tyres
from a Toyota Land Cruiser Gun Platform I won on Ebay about a year ago,
a few accessories and home made decals - and I have a work truck !

Re: Toyota Pick-Up
Thanks all
- surprisingly there must be 15 hours in this simple model, which I did on a truck forum.
Before I retired , I used to supply and fit the reflective green and yellow 'Tarmac' livery to contractors vehicles here in the UK
- but now I do it in miniature.

I like it Ron, the Truck wheels in the back are a great touch.

Re: Toyota Pick-Up
I like it, looks very realistic!.. I never though about installing the other bits to one and raising it.
Though im into the newer genre of vehicles with massive wheels and whatever else they come with, the pic on the box art is not to my taste.. You did a great job Ron!

Re: Toyota Pick-Up
Definitely not a pikey - different kind of Tarmac layers..
..and it certainly is a Dinky D series Ford, I keep it as a reminder.
I used one to train for my HGV driving license back in the '80's
- just the old class 2, which meant I could drive anything except articulated trucks.
