Thanks guys, Hope I can do it justice. Done a bit on three of the horses, which will allow
The Tack to be started. I hope to harness one, and saddle plus harness two. There will also be dead horses.

Bit of clean up required, but the details are fantastic on these kits.

The great war's a great subject, if only to jog the memory of history lessons, i'm taking a swing towards this period too at the mo, not just because of the centenary but i just like the shape and style of older vehicles.

This looks to be a nice subject to make into a diorama, a bit unusual too ... not seen much like this looking online.
nice enough detailing on the parts too.

Wow there's some really nice stuff on there..... Methinks I'll have to investigate there further when I've got spare cash.

Gun primed. I'll be modifying some figured to depict casualties so I'll have a go at one next I think.
Just so I know if they're going to work out.

You have a lot of things to make it a great tableau! Congrats on the choice. WWI was the big test of new weapons and mass killing. What looked primitive by WWII was the basis for what followed. We'll be following your plan.

Looks like you'll be going into mass production mode on those brass shell casings. LOL

Have seen some of these "Tommy" products, excellent quality. For such a significant conflict very little representation in the modelling world, especially 1/35 and 1/32 scales. Wish other manufacturers would gear up, could use the figures for my WW1 London transport bus.

Gary:  I'm almost afraid to ask --- something else to buy ---, but where do I look for the "Tommy" products?  Haven't seen them before.

Here John.
I'm sure they'll ship to you, if there's a problem I'll speak to Darren (the owner) and sort something.
Always assuming there's something you fancy.

Gary:  Thanks.  I'll be checking out the web page.  I really like the looks of what I have seen so far, but haven't made up my mind on whether or not to take up another part of the hobby or not.  I'll let you know what I decide.  Thanks again.  John

Its all looking great, Gary. As you say, plenty of detail on the gun.

And here's a link. The gun survives, at the IWM in London.
