Climb Dance......
....Or how to REALLY drive a car on the edge.
Look how close he comes to the precipice at 3.50.
He makes two errors. Can you spot them?

Re: Climb Dance......
Ari . . . kinda insane! Great film and that machine has power to spare and not much weight. A few times, trying to keep the revs up he overcorrects and yeah, the distance shot shows a rear tire just about on the edge. Drivers live fast, as long as they live. Thanx for a great Y.T. There are some other good ones, amateur filmed, of Euro rallies, thru mountains on the tube too.

Re: Climb Dance......
I have this video on my computer hard drive, and watch it for fun occasionally. It is a classic.
I have been to Pike's Peak several times as crew on a hill climb Sterling big rig that we built at work for promotional purposes. I was in charge of the design crew for it, and also many other duties. Pike's Peak is one special place, and after driving it several times in a rental car, you gain a real appreciation for how these guys really let it hang out.
I believe that the road is now fully paved, so (in my humble opinion) it has lost most of it's old charm and mystique. There is nothing like watching the guys hang out the rear end in the dirt, with the steering all crossed up! Ahhhhhh, the good old days!

Yes he does. 900bhp and on a fully paved course and no doubt in a car full of electronic wizardry.
Just doesn't compare visually to Ari Vattenen in any way at all.

Me too Pete. I never tire of watching it.
So did anyone spot his two errors then? If you did, post the time on the video here!!
