1/76 Airfix Sherman Tank, Korea circa 1951 completed

Comments or criticism welcome as always.

Like i said in the build thread, its hard to get a "hand painted" look on a model without the model itself looking naff.....don't think this looks too bad.... but i'm not 100% happy (are we ever?)

Turned out to be way different than I thought it was going to be. Not bad just different. I like what you have done with it. The Dozer Blade is perfect for it.

Great work on the bucket and the hydraulic hose is a nice touch too.

I have no scanner to get a copy of the book image but i found this on t'intergoogle after a lengthy search and it resembles it very much so, the image doesn't seem to have a copyright and all information points to it being a "skin" on an online tank game

It looks much better all together, weathered and finished. The additions bring it to reality well. The extras on top also help it. Excellent job on a very small model, never easy to do. One of the more clever aspects of the camo (?) paint job is that it hides the indistinct molded-in details, which were clearer in the early fotos. Interesting, must have been a shock in 1951 Korea!

That is awesome. I didn't realize there was a real one like it. That makes it even better. My bad.
