Red Angel jet
im doing this for a What If GB elsewhere, the theme is 'Alternative Red Arrows'..........the Red Arrows have been in existance since 1965 and in all that time have only flown two different aircraft, the Folland Gnat and the current BAE Hawk

.....the plan is what if they had flown other kinds of aircraft. Originally i was going to do a Douglas A4 Skyhawk but someone else had the same idea, happened to see this kit in a shop thos afto when i called in for some paint for another project, was one of those 'why not?' moments

Thumbs up! I reckon TSR.2 would have looked great as a Red Arrow.
But TSR.2 looked good in most colour schemes!

Re: Red Angel jet
really is an old kit and it shows, needing quite a bit of filler here and there
the red on the tops of the intakes is cos i gave the insides a coat of red, to make sure i got the insides done

Re: Red Angel jet
Nice paint job, what about using the sink marks as a base for some light "battle damage" or do you want to keep it showroom condition?

Decals look great as does the pilot. Good call on the matching red helmet.
